Bill Creel

I'm a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Entertainer. I have lot's of experience playing, both in bands and as a solo act. My music covers several genres including Pop, Classic Rock, Country R&B, and Blues. I use backing tracks for most of the songs I do to get a full sound however, there are a few songs that I like to do with just the acoustic guitar and my voice.  I've been playing guitar and singing since I was 14 years old. Since the first stage performance, I've always had a fondness for playing music and singing. I feel right at home on the stage. Most of my experience was gained while I was serving 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. At each duty station, I would either start a band or hook up with bands that were already playing. I've played music up and down the east coast. After retiring from the Coast Guard, I returned to school and got a degree from the University Of South Florida in Science Education with a concentration in Physics. While teaching Physics at Hernando High School in Brooksville, I formed a 15 piece (give or take one or two members at different times) classic rock band, using students from Chorus and the High School band with a core group of adults. (Glee before it's time)lol... I left teaching and sailed as a Radio Electronics Officer on Merchant ships (better pay) until that job phased out. The last few years I've been recording demos for songwriters. However, the urge caught up with me again, and now I'm back to performing as a solo act. I guess once it's in your blood, it's hard to get it out. Everyone wants their event to be a success and using my past experience playing weddings, parties, and clubs, I will do my part to make that happen. I'm a very professional, easy going and friendly person. Now you know all about me, let me hear from you about your party plans.
